I didn't realize I started a journal here in 2006. It must have been when Six Apart originally bought LiveJournal and began incorporating the styles from VOX into LJ themes. Anyway, this site is a bit different than other journaling sites so it may take a little getting used to, but that's ok..I'm game.

What movie can you quote from your head?
BIG, with Tom Hanks. I love Tom Hanks in most every movie he's made. BIG was our traditional Christmas movie when our kids were growing up. It isn't really a Christmas movie but that and White Christmas were the movie's we watched.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Morning absolutely! I have much more energy in the morning and can stay focused. I can get a second wind late afternoon. But, morning is when I do my most creative work.
How well do you know your next-door neighbors?
We know the next door neighbor very well, the house closest to us is where my MIL lives, LOL. The house past her, an elderly lady lives in. We met her when we first moved to the farm in 2002. We are very social people so know several of our nieghbors, even though we live in the country and houses are not close to each other.
What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
Homemade coffee, black. I do enjoy a Mocha Latte now and then but rarely have the time to stop for one.

What magazines do you subscribe to, and why?
I have reduced my magazine subscriptions over the past few years....I found that I had little time to read them. I formerly subscribed to: Martha Stewart Living, Traditional Home, Renovation Style, Bon Appetit, & Cooking Light. I subscribe to only the last two, now.
I lurve to cook :=).
What do you usually do on Sunday?
I usually putz around the yard and clean house then iron my clothes for the work week. Because my MIL hasrecently moved in to a house on our property we've started a tradition of serving Sunday Supper, around 4:00 PM. I usually make something totally fattening with a decadent dessert to go with. After that I play with the dogs and watch whatever is on the TV.
Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?
I have thought about getting a tattoo for about a year, now. I
actually had an appt with an artist in Portland but had to cancel when
unexpected guests arrived from out of town. I had hoped to get some
sort of vine. We have a Wine Club so I was thinking grapevines or small
flowers on a delicate vine.
I love the work done on Miami Ink. Wow, they are fabulous artists.
